Recovery Effort – debris clean-up has begun!

As many of you know, we’ve just received a provisional okay to begin the clean-up process. Several karma yogis and yoginis came down this past weekend to help get started.  Thank you Mei, Mila, Alberto, Zan, and Raphael!

There’s much to do before the rains to keep our debris out of the watershed and generally make clean-up easier. It’s “all hands on deck” for the next couple of weeks as rain is already in the forecast for this weekend…

Zan, Raphael, and Kay gathering the clay tiles from the Japanese wall by the sauna – ready for recycling as erosion control on other parts of the land.

Mila and Alberto all cleaned-up themselves after bagging the sauna debris in just a few hours 🙂

We are all so fortunate to be able to be the stewards of this beautiful land which continues to show us her many beautiful faces and remarkable resilience post fire. Come share in her care,  enjoy the company of our amazing sangha, and celebrate new beginnings with us.

Love and gratitude,

Kay & Cory
